I was reading about that one....seems it will be limited production and only sold to customers who have bought other kits from them.

did you guys see the specs with a 5.0 engine?

The phrase 'eye-ball sucking performance' is a tired, overused metaphor, but it should have been saved for the FFR Coupe. Galloping to 60 mph takes only 3.6 seconds. Bye-bye, Porsche 911 Turbo! The quarter mile passes in only 11.9 seconds at 119 mph, faster than a Dodge Viper GTS."

Well the original cars were Aluminum-bodied IIRC.

The repros are mostly fiberglass.

Neither is magnetic, but one of 'em dents, the other doesn't  so just kick the door in and you'll get your answer.

Actually I think you could probably just look at the appropriate insides of panels (e.g., trunk, etc) to get an idea about the materials used.

One of my tech teachers is building a cobra kit car. His isnt a factory 5 but I watched a video of them during class one day. They are pretty sweet. Theres a company in latham that makes replica daytona cobras, I dont know the name of the buisness though.
