so to recap we now have
1 pro 5.0 short throw shifter
2 slp loudmouth II catback exhaust
3 c&l mass air meter and uper intake that came with a filter and a kewl looking half box to enclose the filter in..kinda dumb cuse the filter just lays there on the hot engine compartment so like wtf would you bother with a half box lol anyway (tube is ariveing in a day or three)

as far as quater mile times go with practice and the rest of the bolt on parts i can run in the 13s so basicly i can hang with a any stock o4 gto and stock mach1 i say that because thats what other people run with the same parts i got..so anyways...i dont race though...im just moding the car so it runs better then stock. its a daily driver and its not cost effective to drop any super money into it for instance like turbos ....waste of money for this car..although if i did want to go forced induction i would deffinatly go with a turbo...
next up are the 3.73 gears tower brace and if i can scrape up enough pennys im going with new breaks beause i need them..i get on my break alot and hard...so i warped the fucking rotors AGAIN...sigh...lol so im going to pay a vist to stainless steal break co...and find out what kinda setup they got....metal on metal always works lol

If you are going with a daily driver sort of thing, you might want to reconsider on the 3:73's. Unless you do most of your commute in town. On the highway the 3:73's turn some pretty good R's.
Just a headsup.

yeah i thought about going with 355s but i wanted a little more go in the short run its a small price to pay for a little fun here and there. as far as gas mileage and rpms go..ill have to just wait and see what its like on the road i may not care depending where the tach runs at 65 and 75mph..before ill know if im keeping them before i dyno tune it

A friend is running 3:55's in his Cougar (I think they have the same tranny ratio) and he said he is about 3100 somewhere between 70-75. He said it's not horrible, but enough to be annoying on long trips. I can only imagine what 3:73's are like.
Check on stangnet.com as well. I think there were some other issues that 3:73'ers were running into that I can't remember right now....resonance or something. I just remember considering the 3:73's and deciding to go 3:55's instead since I wanted a driver. But I never kpt the car long enough to put them in.

did you rid youself of the gears as well as the car? LOL
yeah alot of guy have issues with the fact that once you go forced induction that you sorta endup getting new gears because you really need the 390s or the 410s and in some cases the 430s..
i figure 373 should be decent for what im going to do.. yeah i do alot of driveing but im also going to be doing some upgrades later too like heads cams and other major engine related things..not only that but i forsee droping a 5.4 gt crate engine from ford raceing into the belly of this beast before im finished paying off the loan for the car itself LOL...i just want to stay naturaly asperated i see lots of people with forced induction haveing trouble..and well antime you FORCE somthing its never good LOL
