you're probubly right on that. But thats o.k.... as much as I like the mustang. I don't think lightning will strike twice. The days of the true muscle cars are numbers. We are the last of the breed.

American steel, in my opinion, can't create the craze that once was. New cars will be impressive. but they lack the ... I don't know. They just lack the appeal and character that the 60 - 70 auto industry created.

they lack the hard lines...they lack design with heart. and soul put into the idea...its all about the dollar signs now....gm ford and even shelby..and chrysler...i mean comeon...a new charger? please their doing the name no justice...same thing with the gto..at least if your going to do that do it like ford did...with some retro styleing...as much as i think retro is being played out like a dead horse at least that would do the names justice....just my opinion...
and as far as the shelby cobras being eating up...well im hearing its gonna be like a svt cobra deal...their gonna build enough to satisfy those who can buy them...

If what you're saying is true Grim & they will make enough to satisfy the demand, then it sort of dilutes the rarity of the cars from a collector's standpoint...so maybe they won't get hoarded.

Now I just wich I could afford one!
What kind of price tag do you think the Shelby's will have? I'm guessing around 40-45K.

i would suspect if they make a good number of them they will be cost compeditive with the saleen otherwise theres going to be a huge ass waiting list for the saleens cuse those who want a shelby that cant go up to 60 70 and 80 grand will by one of the three saleen models. i would think shelby and fords svt devision will price them at a modest 45k price tag...but you never know...

personaly id buy a gt and order a supercharger kit from steeda along with a raceing clutch...bam...there you have it 500 ponys to the rear wheels for 6 grand after install

thats 26 for a gt and 6 grand for the supercharger and clutch after install..
thats cheeper then the base saleen and the inside is pretty much the same....
