The ol 66 Mustang. *Speed-Freekz project Mustang*
welp. I think the wife is about ready for th ego-ahead on the interior for the mustang. and BOY is it needed.
In my mustangs unlimited Mag it has a compleate kit. This includes
Kit A $285.00
Coupe & Fastback
* Standard seat upholstery Set <front bench, rear bench, RED>
* Set of Standard door panels <red>
* Carpeting <black or Red>
* Headliner <red>
now thats not too bad. but my wife is worryed about the rear torque box.
so i will need to get the torque box welded and the new panels in the trunk. and i'l sure i can come up with the extra money for the dash pad.
so does anyone know a place around Saratoga that will weld my torque box and sheets for the trunk for a resonable price?
and here is my favorate pic of her

The best thing you can do is put that "For Sale" sign back in the window and cut your losses now. .

and now the finished product. Now i've never done this before. so i read through the directions <very easy to follow. and payed close attention to how the seats came apart. the same attention was taken while putting the new upholstry on. All hog rings where put into there same place, and all the old ones where removed..this was the final product.
this is the top and bottem of the back seat.

Now, after the floors where done..
see floor thread
The whole thing was primered, seams where filled with glass. and i used truck bed liner to finish up the treatment. i figured...why the hell not make sure the floors where good for another 30 years
I removed the windshield due to old dry rotten molding and purchased new molding. dash pad. and kick panels.
I trimmed the carpet up <still need to steam iron it>, installed the kick panels. the molding <windshield not in yet>, and the back seat.
I had to get a look at all this hard work...and you know what...it's been worth it so far!
See below, new dash pad, front carpet and kick panels

not yet, i have the gaskets for the front and the rear, the front windshild is removed, but the back isn't yet, I'm looking at the best way to do it. I think i'm going to repaint the dash and stuff, I feel it would be beter to have the windshield and back glass removed when i do that.

DASH REPAIR
Welp, the dash was cut for a newer radio, we will be replaceing the cut section with a new metal piece for an original TYPE of radio.
Pic#1 This is whas she looked like first
Pic#2 cut to fit, poped some rivets. and ground down the corners. and of course, caked in the bondo to fill the seams
Pic#3 sanded the filler <i hate this shit> and primmed the dash for paint.
