Post Jeep issues again...
I will make sure not one more chrysler product makes it to my driveway. The issue now is the fan wont run and when the vehicle sits idling it overheats since the fan wont kick on... Any suggestions? We have no money to take this to the dealership so I may be SOL.

how can i tell if thats the acutal problem... and is it common?


edit: I am not a mechanic i cant find that stupid sensor

OK i got the sensor off, I am going to go pick up a new one of those and a new radiator cap because this one is pretty beat. Cant hurt and its cheap.

Usually to test I run the fans positive directly to the battery to make sure they spin up and are working, it's the sensor that toggles it on and off depending on temp.

This is a common problem with all electric fans, not just ma mopar ;) besides, it's the cheapest part to replace from the start. and it never hurts to replace it when the fans stop anyways.

replaced radiator cap since that was rough, replaced temp sensor and tested fan (works good) all thats left is the relay
