Yes suspentions lifted so for now I'm legal LOL
As far as the help I will need is engine help it needs a little work that I may not be able to pay labor costs on at a regular garage, what I have is extra parts money to buy parts, all the beer you can drink and a little money to throw at someone for labor what I need is someone who knows their way around a motor and a place to work and tools to work on it.

Just know that the lope is supposed to be in the engine. Manage to take it out and you will lower the value.

If the engine is reving from high to low to high to low instead of just idling, it's supposed to do that. A friend of mine had one of these cars and sold it a couple years ago to an enthusiast who made sure it was doing this.

na just burning some oil more so then the car is suposed to burn thru LOL apparently these cars are known for oil usage and the bottom end not holding up so well.. its needing a ring job at least thats what my brother in law says.. although he hasnt pulled it appart and dug into it or anything but he did say the middle spark plug hole was getting oil in it id have to have him explain im car stupid.

well, save some money then, because if you are going to do a ring job, it will be done right and the motor will be machined.

I did a half way job on the Old 440... remember the phone call?

oh yes i remember that...so i figure it will cost me half the amount you payed.. i have half the motor so it should be ok LOL... so how much does it cost to machine a block? this could get ugly lol

naa, the price of the machine work is cheap with the guy that did mine, my problem was the cost of Mopar parts.

yeah back in the day for 600 more you could buy a vette, the vega was the most over priced turd gm ever built.. but their starting to gain value now because people are realizing how much ahead their time they were.

No, people are buying them because they can take a 350 with no problem and are light. But they gut the cars and update the steering and suspention.

The Cosworth is the only one that was ahead because of the dual overhead cams.

yeah this is true too. but theres a whole community out there dedicated to restoration and preservation of these cars, its pretty amazing that such a peice of crap can have such a following..but yeah the thought of a 350 has crossed my mind but its probly less money to machine it and fix whats wrong then to rip the whole motor out and buy another one to put in.
