You're right, it's a beautiful car!
Is the engine pretty tired right now, or is he just wanting to rebuild to keep it fresh?
Looks like it's pretty clean & original.

it's going to be a complete rebuild. However. the block has some issues. Ace and I are still looking for the right course of action to take.

Well, after a month and no engine, I'm sending this girl home, no Updates as of yet. The original motor was broke in 2 places, Th eowner is looking for a same year casted block. Anyone have a line on a 68-70 Olds Rocket 350. Let me know. But for now. The owner is taking the car.

That's a shame. That car has potential if he didn't want to keep it numbers matching. A good 455 Olds motor would go nicely down in it.

tell me about it, Thats about what i've been saying to him, is the original numbers matching motor is dead, fuck it, put a mean motor in her, just because he's using the same casting or same type of motor in the car doesn't hold the value any, but what do I know

I've always liked that bodystyle and a good one is hard to come by, especially in the great salty rust strewn north. If the numbers don't match the trans and the rest of the car, then a block from the same year is like any other year and don't "match" to a collector.
