here are some pics of the aftermath...I feel bad for the guy though, I'm not a vette fan, but thats gotta suck to have that happen to your car...

What a bunch of tools on the commentary.



Watched something similar happen to a Mustang out at the Valley one night. Hood raised up about 4 inches higher than normal from the explosion and settled back down. No fire though. Watched Viper with the window sticker still in it snap the rear end out too. Always something to watch out there.

yeah they were a couple of tools....but like the announcer said they can rebuild it and its the drivers safety thats important...although i doubt that shit is coverd under the GM protection plan LMAO, and the funnist part is that other dude couldnt win agenst a vette any other way...lol 14s wtf is he on crack trying to run agenst a vette he couldnt run a stock c3 let alone a c5

1 its a zo6 that was running on nos...yes i think they will try to bring it back..the ammount of money the car costs by itself is enough to be like yo theres no way im just droping 80 grand and walking away LOL

a friend of mine is contemplating painting his bike with scorches. Light colored paint then take an oxy/ceteline torch at low output sooty. make cool looking soot marks on it and then clear over it. I've seen pics of others who have done this and if done right it looks cool.

Wouldn't that be really hard to do tho? I mean to get it looking good, not making scorch marks. lol

Sounds cool. I bet the hardest part in making it look good is actually getting the clear to stick to the soot without lifting.
