i'm proud to announce... SHE'S ALIVE!
well. The noise in the firebird was a mis adjusted windage tray. however . I still replaced th eoil pump, and puel pump....only to Finally get her running ...but pissing oil
It ended up being the 2 piece timing chain cover I had installed to make life easy down the road. who wadda guessed it would be a pain in my nuts now.
Yesterday I tore the front end apart. cleaned and resealed the cover. let it stay overnight....started her tonight and no leak....I set the timing. adjusted the carb a bit more <still needs alittle TLC> but i'm proud to announce....she's officially ready for the road.
I need to put the hood on and a few odds an end <toggle switch for the fan. But she's ready to roll. Temps in line. Oil presure is great. trannie SNAPS into gear. and the car is fueled up...
here she is.
and yes. I added a bit of bling. what do you guys think?

Great to hear the news, Jason. Unfortunately, i'll have to miss the maiden voyage due to a previous commitment .
Cheers, Lee S.

We were in the group of people on the left. And if you didn't see his 'bird, it must've been overshadowed by the Viper that was parked next to it.
