Post Looking for an honest repair shop
Hi guys,

One of our students here at work is having some transmission problems with his Grand Cherokee. He took it to a local dealer and of course they quoted him for parts and labor on a job that costs more than the truck is worth.

Any suggestions on where to go for an honest fix? He's from downstate and the truck is his only transportation so anything in the Albany area would be best.

Thanks!

-Trevor

dilorenzos, ask for charlie him and his son have done right by me, khy sent me to them. their honest and they wont pull any shit or bait and switch bullshit either.

located a couple miles west on grooms road from northway exit from the south take a left and from the north take a right onto grooms road. head straight until you come to the 4 way stop sign at the stewarts, go thru that intersection their about a half a mile maybe a tad more on the left. set back behind some trees and shit

+1 on Rowland Street. I had a car worth about $1000 that the transmission would not stay in fifth gear without having to actually hold in in gear (manual). They inspected the transmission and checked the fluids (for free) and told me it really wasn't worth fixing and suggested just driving it the way it was. I drove it for another 65,000 miles befor I sold it.
