My name is Brendan P. McLean. I am the general sales manager for Armory Nissan (the guy behind the curtain) I am sorry that you did not have a good experience at my dealership. What I don't understand, is why you feel I was dishonest. I don't mind a customer getting a better deal from another dealer, I do mind when a customer says I tried to pull a fast one. I take pride in the low pressure self sufficient sales team that I have here at Armory Nissan. Leaving me little reason to get involved personally in most individual sales, and seeing that we sell 3 times the vehicles that Nemith does, I feel its working for us. I am glad that you are happy with your experience at Nemith. If you would like to sit and talk about where I went wrong in our process I am all ears. If you think I did something other then try to sell a vehicle under the M.S.R.P. please tell me because to date I don't feel as I have.

You had a Nissan Xtera for a price - you had a $9000 rebate off that vehicle.
I had sat down - gave you price including my trade in.

The sales guy came back with $9000 off the truck.
I said "Where's the number on my trade in?"
He said "Its in here - the $9000 figure"
I sad "I would have got that if i rode a bike in since that was the advertised price"
Salesman goes back to you.
Salesman comes back to me ...says we will still honor the $9000 off and you can keep your car.

uh - oh gee thanks for not taking my car for absolutely nothing and offering it back to me.

We could go back and forth about how you are such a reputable sales manager and how Armory is this and that.
I know what my experience was and you know what you do behind the curtain.
I am glad it's working on some people - good luck when karma comes back around

I wasn't beat by thousands.
It was respect and honesty.
They were honest about my vehicle and i was honest with them.
We were able to meet in the middle.
The MSRP for the truck with my selected options was $30000, i got it for $18000 ..plus i got a fair price for my trade in.
I know my car had a lot of miles - but i also know there's wiggle room on your end.
In the end it wasn't about what i got for my trade-in but i how was treated.
I'm sure your tactics work on most or you wouldn't have the lot you have.
But the way the automobile industry is shaping up - you might just get what is coming to you.

I am of the same opinion about armory. Pulled the same action when we were shopping for the Maxima. We also bought from Nemith. Just don't ever get your car washed in their "Free" car wash. We had to have the car buffed out three times to get the scratches out.

My experience with Denooyer was similar. While I was working there I wanted to buy a Berretta (that will tell you how long it has been). One of the dealers was the father of my high school friend. I asked what the price would be and he told me he would see if he could cut me a deal. He came back and told me he talked them into selling it to me for a employee discounted $8,000. Sounded weird, so while he was at lunch I took a look at his price list. They had it listed at $7,999 which had been crossed off with $6,999 written next to it. Thanks for the good deal asshole.
